Daisha Board Gallery announced its newest location, and third gallery opening, in the Tin District of West Dallas on August 19. With a spacious 7000 square feet facility, this contemporary art gallery is set to become a prominent global destination for art enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Daisha Board, the owner of two successful galleries, including the original location on Sylvan Avenue in West Dallas and the second at The Joule Hotel in Downtown Dallas, has established herself as a leading figure in the art community, with both galleries being recognized as the “Best Art Gallery” by prominent local and national publications.
Art lovers and the community flocked to the latest location on August 19 for the highly anticipated inaugural exhibition, “Lyte as a Rock: Hip Hop 50: The Intersection of Art, Culture, Technology, and Community.” The exhibition will run until September 23, and will showcase the works of an exceptional lineup of featured artists, including: Jeremy Biggers, Latrise Sheriff, Tyler Upchurch, Jessica Bell, Josiah Jones, and M*Knight. This exhibition explores the vibrant connections between art, hip-hop, technology, and community.
“We are thrilled to open our doors in the Tin District of West Dallas,” says Daisha Board, Founder and Owner of Daisha Board Gallery. “This new space will allow us to continue showcasing exceptional contemporary art and exploring the intersections of art, culture, technology, and community. We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and the Dallas community, and we look forward to providing a platform for talented artists and fostering meaningful connections.”
