Consuela Jacobs Opens The 3,000 Chick-fil-A Store At The Shops At Redbird

Around Town

It’s more difficult to get a Chick-fil-A franchise than it is to get into Harvard, but Consuela Jacobs did it! The Shops At Redbird and the surrounding area is experiencing the type of renaissance that is nothing short of a miracle. Consuela is getting an opportunity to participate in that miracle. Her Chick-Fil-A is at the front entrance of The Shops At Redbird, next to Starbucks. Consuela, a Houston native, is one of a handful of African American female Chick-fil-A franchise owners. The Texas A&M graduate and member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority proudly opened her store in November surrounded by a host of community and business leaders, clergy, and the CEO of Chick-fil-A, Andrew Cathy. Ms. Jacobs once worked at a Chick-fil-A store to get the real experience of how the store operated. If you haven’t been there yet, make sure to stop by to support her store and this historic location.
