Nigerian born Damola Adamolekun is a phenomenal business executive and the epitome of corporate leadership at the age of 36 years old! Damola was appointed as the esteemed CEO of Red Lobster in August of 2024, after previously serving as the first Black CEO of the venerable P.F. Chang’s restaurant. He originates from a well-educated family, his father is a neurologist and mother a pharmacist. Damola holds a Bachelor of Arts and Political Science degree from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard. Prior to the restaurant industry, he held a position of Investment Banker at the prestigious Goldman Sachs. The incomparable business and financial expertise Damola brings to Red Lobster are vast, but the most important proficiency is listening. Damola is a consummate listener, often mirroring the thoughtful listening talent that former President Obama possessed. Damola prioritized listening to customers and then executed a plan. The Red Lobster Seafood Boils have been a popular addition to their menu! His willingness to make changes for the company to evolve is necessary and true to leaders. Leaders listen, take notes, act and take accountability. We look forward to Damola’s continued success and more culinary gems at Red Lobster.
