Parrish 5th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament Strengthens Community Through Sport and Giving

By: Toska Medlock

The Parrish Charitable Foundation hosted its 5th Annual Golf Tournament last month, drawing a sold out field of nearly 200 golfers and supporters for a day of impact, fellowship, and philanthropy. The event kicked off with a special presentation of $10,000 checks to the athletic programs at South Oak Cliff High School, DeSoto High School, and Duncanville High School, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to uplifting youth through education and sports.

Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed spirited play across the course, celebrity guest appearances, and contests such as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole-in-One challenges. The tournament also featured the Hall of Impact, a powerful exhibit highlighting the Foundation’s decades of giving, from local scholarships to global healthcare initiatives.
