Congratulations are in order for former Dallas City Councilman Casey Thomas! Casey knew that he wanted to continue his role in serving the community in some capacity once he left his position as Dallas city councilman and he can now do that on a much broader scale. Casey won the election on October 14th. In this position, Casey says, “I will be leading the state’s efforts on reactivating local chapters, developing leadership of local offices as well as leading the push to get out the Black vote”. Did you know that the Texas NAACP is the largest state conference in the country? Casey’s hands are full,
but we believe he will get the job done! We wish him the greatest of success in his new position!
