Concord Church began with 230 charter members on June 22, 1975 in the Carr P. Collins chapel on the campus of Bishop College. Dr. E.K. Bailey led the church from its inception to its new home at 3410 South Polk St. Due to the immense growth in membership, the church moved to a much larger space at 6808 Boulder Dr., now renamed Pastor Bailey Dr. In October of 2003, the beloved Servant of God, Dr. E.K. Bailey went home to be with The Lord after a valiant fight with cancer. A young and vibrant Pastor Bryan L. Carter became Dr. Bailey’s successor . For the past two decades, under Pastor Carter’s leadership, the church continues to grow with over 10,000 members. We wish Concord Church nothing but the best as it celebrates 50 years of growing and equipping the body of Jesus Christ!
